I quite like Creative Commons' visual license "language" — it allows concise expression of the exact restrictions under which a work is licensed. Well, now the enigmatic Sun engineer known only as "Chandan" has provided a conceptually-similar "language" for visually distinguishing the GPL, CDDL, and BSD licenses. Mmm... Pretty pictures...
